What Will Your Children Do All Day? As well as providing for children's basic needs for food, drink, rest and comfort we will be planning activities that give your children the opportunity to develop. We believe children learn best through play and we hope to enable them to develop both emotionally and socially, learn language, literacy and basic numeric skills and also develop both physically and creatively. Children develop at different rates so we will try to make activities appropriate to ability and age. We use the Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) to ensure children's developmental needs are met and that they are progressing within the appropriate guidelines. Where Will They Spend Their Time? Following our OFSTED visit, the areas available to your child are as follows:-
We will be using the local facilities in Yaxley where relevant, such as the three playgrounds, library, toddler group, playing field, local walks and local shops. We also go to three toddler groups in Farcet, Fletton and Woodston. This also includes a singing group in the Ortons.
