Welcome to Terri's Tinies, Childminders in Peterborough!

Let Us Introduce Ourselves!

We are Andy and Terri Cook (see our picture!) and we have been married for over 17 years. We have a daughter called Libby who is 6 years old (also in the picture!). We also have three cats called Tinkerbell, Buster, Soxs and we have a few fish.

We have lived in Yaxley (see map below) since 2006 and hope to remain here throughout our daughter's education. We love the village and are very settled here.

Our Childminding Services

Terri has worked as a childminder since 2001 and Andy became a childminder in 2004. We have been accredited since 2009.

We aim to provide a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment, build positive relationships with the children in our care and make sure their individual needs are met so they can reach their full potential.

We hope to offer children a continuity of care as close to their home environment as possible. We would like children in our care to feel "part of the family" and therefore valued as a family member.

When Will We Work?

We work Monday-Friday, 6:30am-7:00pm. We also work during the school holidays.

We are willing to drop off and pick your children up from Yaxley Infant School, William D Yaxley and Stretton Preschool (Main Street).

We also go to two toddler groups in Farcet and Fletton.

We Would Love To Meet You!

We will want to meet with you and get to know as much about you and your child as is needed to properly care for your child, and also so that all mandatory records are kept. We also think it is reassuring for children to see their parent(s) and childminder chatting in a friendly, relaxed fashion.

We would love parents to stay for the occasional coffee and chat where appropriate at our home. Also we will provide an information book to pass between parent and childminder where we will record relevant daily information for you and you can supply us with anything you wish us to know on a daily basis.
