Let Us Introduce Ourselves!

We are Andy and Terri Cook (see our picture!) and we have been married for 15 years. We have a daughter called Libby (also in the picture!). We also have three cats called Charlie, Holly and Tinkerbell!

We have lived in Yaxley (see map below) for just over two years and hope to remain here throughout our daughter's education. We love the village and are very settled here.

Us as Childminders

Terri has worked as a childminder since 2001 and Andy became a childminder in 2004.

We aim to provide a warm, welcoming and stimulating environment, build positive relationships with the children in our care and make sure their individual needs are met so they can reach their full potential.

We hope to offer children a continuity of care as close to their home environment as possible. We would like children in our care to feel "part of the family" and therefore valued as a family member.

When Do We Work?

We work Monday-Friday, 6:30am-7:00pm. Terri is supported by Andy on Fridays.

If you need our help during School Holidays then we can do this and are also willing to pick your children up from Stretton Pre-school and Yaxley Infant School and drop them back there if you would like this.

We Would Love To Meet You!

We will want to meet with you and get to know as much about you and your child as is needed to properly care for your child, and also so that all mandatory records are kept. We also think it is reassuring for children to see their parent(s) and childminder chatting in a friendly, relaxed fashion.

We would love parents to stay for the occasional coffee and chat where appropriate. Also we will provide an information book to pass between parent and childminder where we will record relevant daily information for you and you can supply us with anything you wish us to know on a daily basis.
